The SMAK established training center, Basic Training Center (BTC) scheme. The object is to provide skilled work force to industries.  Basic Training Centre was established in the year 1982 under the Apprenticeship act 1961. It is unique

‘Group Training Scheme’ in India which is run by SME industrial entrepreneurs.

SMAK established Govt. Affiliated Industrial Training Institute (ITI) in 1994, To provide the skilled man power to industries. The SMAK ITI is one of the largest private ITI in the Kolhapur area. The institute conducts a full range of academic activities in the field of vocational education covering training, teaching and skill development. ITI is run by industrial entrepreneurs hence they focus on holistic development of students by adopting the most innovative and creative dimension to impart quality education and employability skills.

With an intention of Collaborative growth SMAK ITI has signed a Memorandum of Understating (MOU) with Cummins India Ltd., with an objective to initiate Program for Academic Connect and to bridge a gap between industry & academic. It also have MOU with Mitsubishi Electric India, Federal Skill Academy and various industries of Shiroli MIDC area.

We have functioning CNC, VMC Programming & Operating course since last 13 years in our institute with in house practical facilities on CNC(Turning) & two VMC machines with Fanuc, Siemens and Mitsubishi control with necessity tools & equipment’s. We have also fulfilled with advanced Welding Simulator machine, PLC trainer kit, Hydraulic & Pneumatic training machines.
